Mobiado is still pretty new on the luxury mobile-phone market, but they’re releasing now their second phone from their Aston Martin collection. During the last year, they’ve launched the Aston Martin CPT002 phone, a marvelous photne that is still not available on the market today. They’ve named their latest creation the Grand Touch Aston Martin Phone, a luxury phone combining high-tech mobile functionality with beauty and style that will definitely stand out.
The material the body of the phone consists of is solid aircraft aluminum, CNC-machined with huge caution and anodized for a touch of elegance. There is also a gold version, CNC-machined as well, from solid brass, plated with rose or yellow gold, being more luxurious than the previous version. The phone features no rough edges, its corners being beautifully curved, thanks to the CNC workout.
In terms of technical data, the phone comprises a 5 MP camera with LED flash and a 4 inch display, with a resolution of 480×800, S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, with 16 million colors. In addition, it boasts a MP3, WAV, eAAC+, AC3 player, 3.5 mm jack connector and MP4, H.264, H.263 player.
The connectivity options include GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE, EDR and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, plus a 3-axis gyro sensor, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and a multi-touch input method.
So much for technical data, let’s move to decorations – below the surface we can find mother of pearl or ebony wood, creating an impression of depth. The battery cover consists of a sole piece of sapphire crystal, endowed with a hidden sliding mechanism. The crews are all made of gun metal black stainless steel, while the buttons are made of black-painted sapphire crystal.
Furthermore, this edition is available in five styles: yellow gold with ebony wood, rose gold with ebony wood, black with black mother of pearl, silver with white mother of pearl and black with gold mother of pearl.
