An Environmentally Friendly, Noise-Free Haven: The Quiet Treehouse

This is not your ordinary treehouse. Sure, it’s basically still a sort of hideaway, that place where you would go to as a kid when you wanted to get away from the world. But the Quiet Treehouse, built by Blue Forest in collaboration with Quiet Mark and John Lewis, is a state-of-the-art retreat designed to insulate you from the noisy world outside.

The Quiet Treehouse is a two-story structure made from 80% organic and recyclable materials, donated by a number of brands known for their commitment to sustainability and the environment, like Kebony, Medite Tricoya, Pilkington Glass and many more. Whether set in the woods or in an urban or suburban environment, the treehouse can be installed independently of a host tree and provides the same feeling of being safe and separate from the world.

The Quiet Treehouse is on display at the Ideal Home Show 2014 (which runs March 14-30 at London’s Earl Court) and afterwards it will be donated to The Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in West Sussex, England.
