Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!! We hope you were all good this year and that Santa was quite generous with  you today. If the answer to all that is ‘yes’, we’re guessing there is more than enough reason to celebrate, and what better way to do so than by sipping on your favorite drink?

If you don’t know which one that is, just yet, or if you’re simply in the mood for something new – like the best of the best – simply focus your attention on these 10 exquisite drinks, and don’t forget to try them out. Enjoy!

10. Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is DIAGEO’s newest brand within its American Whiskey portfolio. This particular drink pays homage to the artful passion and renowned craftsmanship of the celebrated Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky and it was actually named after the two parts of a skeleton key, the blade shaft and the ornate bow handle.

This new Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was inspired by the Five Keys symbol that can be found throughout the Stitzel-Weller Distillery, which represent the five steps of crafting bourbon, namely grains, yeast, fermentation, distillation and aging, symbolizing the southern traditions of hospitality, warmth and a smooth glass of pure whiskey.

Available in two offerings, the Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old Limited Release Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, each whiskey flavor comes with its own distinctive liquid properties and characteristics.

9. Royal Salute Eternal Reserve Whisky

Royal Salute, one of the world’s most exquisite luxury Scotch whisky brands has unveiled this year an innovative blending technique, which allows whiskies to literally live forever. Dubbed as the Circular Blending process, their way of making whisky will allow the original blend to be used in every subsequent batch for decades to come.

After selecting its most precious whiskies, with an exceptionally long finish, the Scottish label then blends them together to form 88 casks of the inaugural batch. Since each time a new batch is released half of the blend is re-casked, even 300 hundred years from now whisky aficionados will be able to enjoy the precious liquid born in 2015.

8. Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition

Hennessy revealed the fifth edition of its Very Special Limited Edition series a couple of months ago, after a close collaboration with the renowned American artist Ryan McGinness. Part of a continued legacy of artistic collaborations at Hennessy, this particular edition shows off the formations of elements from Ryan’s ongoing body of work ‘Black Holes’: a pattern in bright fluorescent colors.

The contemporary artist’s new drawing of an arm holding a flower composed of a blooming radiating eye is quite brilliant, while his bottle design including subverted metadata, enhanced through his own visual language.

McGinness explores the visual language of elements, compounds and mixtures, in a similar manner to the creative process of Hennessy.

7. Chivas Regal Extra

Pernot Ricard has finally revealed the latest addition to the Chivas Regal range of blended Scotch whiskies, a super-premium release called Chivas Regal Extra.

Created by master blender Colin Scott as a tribute to James and John Chivas, the two brothers who pioneered the art of blending whisky in the 19th Century, this edition is, simply put, a very special one.

The Chivas Regal Extra is crafted from whiskies matured in Oloroso sherry casks together with the rarest and finest malts in the Chivas inventory. This blend has a fruity, sweet nose with notes of ripe pears, creamy toffee and a hint of ginger, spicy cinnamon, and almonds. In the US, Chivas Regal Extra will is available at around $70 per unit.

6. AsomBroso “The Collaboration” Tequila

The highly-exclusive AsomBroso “The Collaboration” Tequila is in a league of its own, creating a special new sub-class in the tequila market called the Ultra-Premium Double Barrel Rested Anejo.

This unique 11-year-old, double-barreled, Cabernet Sauvignon Anejo has been rested exclusively in Silver Oak American Oak barrels and now comes in an exquisite crystal decanter hand-blown by Italian artist Luciano Gambaro.

Part of an ultra-premium line of tequilas which includes “El Carbonzado”, “Del Porto”, and “Black Pearl,” “The Collaboration” was released in early spring 2015 at a cool price of $1,800.

5. Russo-Baltique Vodka

Vodka is usually associated with Russians and James Bond, and we all know that Russians will always have the best vodka for you to enjoy. As such, only a privileged few will be able to try Russo-Baltique, the world’s most expensive vodka. Priced at a staggering $1.3 million per bottle, the premium vodka Russo-Baltique costs just about the same as a Bugatti Veyron.

This drink was first introduced at the Top Marques show, in Monaco, and comes in a unique flask, a replica of the radiator guard used for the Russo-Baltique cars, that’s made from gold coins minted between 1908 and 1912.

The flask cap was made from white and yellow gold, containing a diamond-encrusted replica of the Russian Imperial Eagle, while the bottle is made from bulletproof glass.

4. 2015 Papá Andrés Alegría Edition Bottle

Brugal Rum has introduced this year Papá Andrés Alegría, probably the brand’s most exclusive rum. Coming right out their private reserves, with a price tag of $1,500 per bottle, Papá Andrés Alegría could have been enjoyed only at parties of the Brugal family in the last 50 years or so.

This wonderful rum comes in a glass bottle decorated by designer Javier Mariscal in green, white and yellow floral details. Mariscal has also illustrated the book that accompanies the bottle, which tells people a little bit about the story of Father Andrew and Brugal.

Obviously, this is a limited edition series, with only 100 bottles with Dominican Republic’s finest rum to be up for grabs.

3. 1952 Tullibardine Single Malt Whisky

Scotch makers Tullibardine have prepared a special treat for us, unveiling a stunning 1952 Custodian Whisky this year. One of the rarest and most expensive Single Malt whiskies in the world, Tullibardine’s newest creation started its life six decades ago, and was released to the world only this year.

This whiskey has actually matured since the reign of King George VI, has seen through 12 British Prime Ministers, 12 US Presidents, the moon landings, Concorde and a new Millennium so that’s saying a lot. This is the most exceptional Single Malt Whisky Tullibardine ever created.

With only 70 bottles produced, the 1952 will be enjoyed only upon invitation, so it should not come as a surprise that the costs ring up to about £20,000 ($31,194) per bottle. Each of them features a specially commissioned gold and crystal decanter Baccarat, inspired by the “Tullibardine Drop”.

2. Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2007

The famous champagne maker Perrier-Jouët has unveiled their latest vintage bubbly of the House’s acclaimed prestige cuvée, the Belle Epoque 2007. Belle Epoque remains the iconic expression of Perrier-Jouët’s floral, stylish and luxurious attitude, benefiting from two centuries of legacy in the art of vintage.

A crystalline vintage, this bubbly from 2007 will probably become one of the most desirable champagnes of the Belle Epoque cuvée. The 2007 Belle Epoque cuvée is a wonderful mix of 50% Chardonnay from Cramant, Avize and Chouilly, 45% Pinot Noirs from Mailly, Verzy and Aÿ,  as well as 5% Pinot Meunier from Dizy.

This beautifully elegant bubbly resembles the bottle that was first designed by Emile Gallé in 1902.

1. 1920s With John Walker And Sons XR 21 Year Old

The 1920’s are still a symbol of extraordinary style and sophistication, with the Art-Deco movement instantly coming to mind. John Walker has introduced in 2015 a spectacular new-fangled design of the premium blended Scotch Whiskey John Walker and sons XR 21 Year Old, in honor of said era.

Featuring a sculpted cross which was inspired by Sir Alexander Walker’s Knighthood, the lovely bottle will come in a delicate, polished gold box.

Sipping from a 21-year old whiskey that was drawn from the extremely rare Johnnie Walker reserves sounds like the best way of celebrating. Renowned for their exquisite taste and smoothness, John Walker whiskies’ have slowly taken over the entire world, being a wonderful example of craft and expertise, right from the heart of Scotland.
