Spring is drawing ever near, and all the major brands are already looking to add a little more life and color to their new releases. Yves Saint Laurent is no different, as it has just introduced this cheerful variation to Paris, its iconic fragrance created by Sophia Grojsman in 1983.
The French fashion house has given the task of revitalizing the original fragrance to renowned perfumer Dominique Ropion. The result is the Paris Premières Roses 2014 Limited Edition, a light eau de toilette. It opens with an accord of wild rose, violet and neroli combined with notes of lily of the valley, Rosa damescena and peony, while some of the base notes are white musk, sandalwood and roses.
Reminiscent of the flacons of previous edition, the new fragrance comes with a multifaceted flacon featuring a pink tint and a new floral motif in gold.
The Paris Premières Roses 2014 Limited Edition will be available starting March 3, and will be priced at around $106 for 125ml.
