The tremendously elegant Steinway Lyngdorf Model D is a fantastic sound system with a large degree of uniqueness on its side. There is the first fully digital, integrated stereo sound system ever, a wonderful mix of top sound quality, exquisite elegance and contemporary design.

These speakers might as well be a future benchmark in terms of sound tech, a marvelous accomplishment of the brand. It boasts with in-built Fully Digital Amplification on two channels, intelligent modular versatility, superbly hand-finished parts and RoomPerfect technology allowing the speakers to be arranged as a home theater system with P1 Surround Sound Processor.

Want more technical details? The Steinway Lyngdorf Model D sports twin dipole three way speakers with frequency response between 20 Hz and 22 kHz. Customers may also opt for a head unit with CD player or subtly implemented SP-1 Stereo Processor. The Model D also comes endowed with an RF remote control unit in either chrome or gold. Even more special is the manufacture process – 170 hours of precision machining and more than 8 weeks of hand-assembly.

The Steinway Lyngdorf Model D Speakers are garnished with a black lacquer finish for an even more opulent look. Customers can also choose between different materials, with all sorts of wood essences among them, and a color lacquer finish with either chrome or gold accents. The speakers were priced at $150,000 when they were launched, but further revisions of the costs have raised the required funds to a scratch over $200,000.
