The world-renowned singer Eric Clapton has recently started collaboration with Fender, bringing out the new EC series of amplifiers, built right under his specifications and experience. The series comes in 3 different versions: EC Twinolux, EC Tremolux and EC Vibro-Champ, honoring their respective ‘50s ancestors.

The amps feature the old output tube bias tremolo (more throbbing pulse than later Fender products) and the switchable power attenuator reducing speakers’ output besides other innovations.Being one of the world’s top exponents of the classic tweed amp tone produced by Fender, the respective company declared that the amps were specifically pointed to emphasize the 60-year-old music-master’s ideas regarding amp tones for staging and studios.

Traditionally built in the United States, it provides great tweed tube amp performance to guitarists and fans worldwide, through the tach system. Prices start from $1,399.99 for the EC Vibro-Champ, $2.799.99 for the EC Tremolux and reach $4,199.99 for the top of the line EC Twinolux.
