10. explora Patagonia

If you love mountains and waterfalls, as well as unique UNESCO biospheres, the all-inclusive explora Patagonia hotel in Chile is the perfect place for you to chill out and enjoy the most serene views you’ll ever see. This minimalist resort has managed to bring luxury right into the wilderness, without affecting its existence and natural beauty, welcoming guests in a slice of heaven.

explora Patagonia is centered around the luxurious Hotel Salto Chico, a beautiful lodge located at the mouth of a waterfall in the Torres del Paine National Park. Guests may choose between one of the 50 television-free rooms, boasting an incredible Eco-conscious design, with native lenga wood details and almond wood floors. The picture above is just stunning, isn’t it?

9. Fairmont Chateau Whistler

Located right at the base of the famous ski resort, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a true ski-in/ski-out luxury hotel. Mixing breathtaking suites with some of the most incredible mountain views, this hotel is one of a kind in all of North America and probably the best place to visit whenever you want to explore the mountains near Vancouver.

Fairmont Whistler is much more than hotel though; it’s the ultimate place to get pampered by full resort services like the Vida Wellness Spa and the Fairmont Gold boutique services. If you’re feeling down, feel free to treat yourself with a signature martini within the sublime atmosphere of the Mallard Lounge.

Skiing, snowboarding, or golfing on a championship course during the warm summer days are on offer as well.

8. W Hong Kong

The incredible W Hong Kong overlooks the energetic city of Hong Kong and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the electrifying city.

Featuring an exceptional design, where glamour and luxury meet modern architecture and state of the art amenities, the fabulous hotel offers its guests every comfort they could imagine in 393 rooms, each of them boasting the signature W feather bed, fitted with 400-thred-count bed-sheets, and a jaw dropping entertainment system.

The en-suite bathrooms are equally impressive, featuring a lovely soaking tub, the softest bathrobes and even a 15 inch flat screen TV. The heavenly rooftop pool, located on the 76th floor of the hotel, will make you love this place forever and the pampering spa treatments from the Asia’s first Bliss Spa will make anyone forget about their trouble.

7. Chalet Mont Blanc

Chalet Mont Blanc is a luxurious retreat overlooking one of Europe’s most spectacular landscapes. This enchanting chalet comprises just seven en-suite bedrooms, but each room is designed to be completely different than the other. The resort’s facilities are beyond impressive, with a wine cellar featuring an a la carte wine list and house wines, as well as a private cinema being on offer.

The heated outdoor lounge, with breathtaking views of the surroundings, will probably be the focus of your attention. 6. InterContinental Bali Resort

Located on the dreamy coast of Jimbaran Bay in Bali, Indonesia, the InterContinental Bali Resort is a true gem. Inspired by the traditional Balinese architecture, this gorgeous resort allows guests to savor the unique ambiance of a tranquil Balinese village.

5. Chateau Gutsch

The jaw dropping Chateau Gutsch was originally a 19th-century manor house and hunting lodge. Inspired by the fantasy castles of the Bavarian king Ludwig II, this imposing property covers 50,000 sq ft of space, allowing guests to enjoy the most serene views over lake Lucerne.

This charming castle was often used as a vacation destination for Queen Victoria, which obviously means it’s worthy of your full and undivided attention. With an exquisite Gustavian-style interior, this location will have to decide between one of the 27 gorgeous guest rooms and suites decorated in gorgeous blues like duck egg greens, soft lilacs and sunshine yellows.

This timeless caste also boasts French painted Louis IV furniture, alongside Gustavian and Swiss antiques.

4. Villa d’Este

The splendid Villa d’Este shows off a 1950s movie vibe that will make you fall in love with this place instantly! Set right on the shoes of the beautiful Lake Como, the luxurious Villa d’Este has been welcoming guests since 1873 with incredible service, breathtaking gardens, brocaded silk and embellished furniture.

This place is the stuff that dreams are made of, blending classical luxury with modern comforts and a jaw dropping floating swimming pool.

152 gorgeous rooms await guests, part of two historical buildings dating back to a time when the villa used to serve as the summer home of a 16th century Cardinal, and two ‘newer’ villas, Villa Cima and Villa Malakoff, completed back in the 1800s.

3. Amanjiwo

Located in one of the most serene parts of Indonesia, the mesmerizing Amanjiwo resort actually sits in a natural amphitheater. In this amazing place, the resort is made up of 34 gorgeous volcanic ash-tinted suites, tiered in two crescent shaped rows along the natural amphitheater which overlooks the world’s largest Buddhist sanctuary, Boronbudur.

Staying in this scenic rural part of Central Java, you could experience here the unique Javanese culture and its ceremonies, or explore the nearby Buddhist temples and villages. As you enter Amanjiwo, you will be welcomed at the bell-shaped rotunda by Javanese girls in traditional dress with rose petals, which sounds awesome, right?

The suites at Amanjiwo are warm and inviting and the resort’s restaurant, spa and amphitheater-style pool will make you love this place even more.

2. Palazzo Versace Dubai

The marvelous Palazzo Versace in Dubai has been opened just a couple of months ago, welcoming guests from all over the world within a classy Versace lifestyle. Featuring high ceilings, beautifully landscaped gardens and high end Italian furnishings, this lavish hotel will impress anyone with its dazzling interiors, designed by none other than the Italian brand’s artistic director, Donatella Versace.

Reminiscent of a charming 16th century Italian Palace, the Palazzo Versace Dubai features subtle hints at Arabian architecture as well, with a beautiful Medusa and Greek décor. The hotel offers two room categories, Deluxe and Premiere, as well as five suite categories which unfold as Executive, Grand Executive, Grand, Signature and Imperial.

Developed by Enshaa PSC, the Palazzo Versace Dubai also shows off eight trendy restaurants and bars, including an Al Fresco terrace, 3 outdoor pools decorated with mosaic tiles, and lush gardens.

1. Necker Island

In case you don’t know this yet, Necker Island is a paradise of lush tropical plants and white sand beaches, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. This is actually Sir Richard Branson’s private island paradise, located in the British Virgin Islands, although Necker Island is also available for anyone else willing to pay the right price for this slice of heaven.

Accommodations in this paradise include Balinese-style houses, with teak furniture, crisp linens and of course, amazing views of the ocean. The dining experience includes sumptuous dishes served amid several incredible locations around the island and guests will even benefit from their very own personal chefs here, with a menu that will make it difficult to choose what to eat or drink here.

Those stunning views are complemented by a lot of interesting activities, including tennis, sailing, snorkeling or wind-surfing. You may also chill out in the Necker Island Spa or in a hammock at the beach; either way, it sounds incredible!
