The 20th anniversary of Chopard’s Manufacture in Fleurier received its very welcomed present just a couple of days ago, in the form of two new superb L.U.C timepieces: the L.U.C GMT One and the L.U.C Time Traveler One. Beautifully finished and chronometer-certified by COSC, both these exquisite timepieces have been designed with the world traveler in mind, but let’s see what each watch has in store for us.
First, the L.U.C Time Traveler One will easily help you keep track of time in basically any time zone across the planet, with three classy versions on offer. Ref. 168574-3001 shows off a stainless steel case with a black, orange and white dial, Ref. 161942-5001 comes in 18-carat rose gold case and features a sunburst silver-toned dial, while the platinum Ref. 161942-9001 has a unique grey-blue dial.
The mechanical self-winding caliber L.U.C 01.05-L keeps everything moving and ticking perfectly, backed up by about 60 hours worth of power reserve and the ability to handle 50-meter deep waters.
On the other hand, the L.U.C GMT One packs the brand’s L.U.C 01.10-L automatic GMT calibre inside a 42 mm case, with a vertical satin-brushed case middle. Already up for the grabs, Chopard’s new L.U.C timepieces are beautiful, stylish, and well worth the money – although, we don’t know how much they cost, yet. In the meantime, we can’t help but stare at these mesmerizing timepieces; what do you think?
