Part of a limited series of only 28 units, the new Louis Moinet Sideralis Inverted Double Tourbillon is a true watchmaking marvel.
Designed to show off a unique look, with two tourbillons rotating in opposite directions, which power up the star mechanism of the Sideralis complication, this watch is also a world’s first, since this is actually the first time a complication is driven by a double tourbillon.
Louis Moinet’s newest creation also comes with a gorgeous dial, featuring two discs, the top one coming with a tiny hand painted image, depicting the beautiful universe on a surreal dark blue background.
With a 47.4 mm case, crafted from 18kt grey gold, this exquisite watch also benefits from double sapphires and it is water resistant at up to 30 meters. Movement is provided by the Swiss manual-wind Louis Moinet in-house caliber LM46, with 36 jewels, 21,600 vph and an impressive power reserve of 72 hours or 3 days.
Finishing off this stunning design is a 24mm black alligator leather strap, that comes paired with an 18kt grey gold folding clasp. We’re not sure anyone would benefit from owning this watch, because we think it’s pretty hard to tell time on this one, when your attention is focused on the incredibly beautiful dial and its amazing inverted tourbillons.
