Savelli Genève is a company established by Alessandro Savelli and based in Geneva, Switzerland, which aims to create mobile phones that are much more than just useful devices, but actually veritable luxurious pieces of jewelry.
During the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, which is set to take place in the brand’s hometown between 19th and 23rd of 2015, Savelli will showcase its new line of deluxe mobile phones called the Ruby Limited Edition.
The release comprises two devices, both of which will be powered by Android. Firstly, there’s the Ruby Mystery, which includes 395 brilliant-cut rubies and an 18-carat white gold case. The back of the piece is made of stainless steel and rubberized alligator leather. The Ruby Mystery series is limited to 20 units, each priced at $35,600.
Secondly, there’s the even more extravagant Ruby Passion. In addition to the 395 brilliant-cut rubies, this one also features 144 brilliant-cut diamonds, along with red alligator leather. Limited to just 8 pieces, Ruby Passion smartphone would set you back a hefty $57,700.
