It’s that time again, when we get to talk about yet another bespoke Rolls-Royce Wraith. The special division from the British luxury automaker has developed a new special project, dubbed History of Rugby, as a way to celebrate the sport’s history.
Introduced just in time for the 2015 rugby world cup that currently takes place in the UK, the luxury coupe shows off an English White paint scheme, as a homage to the white rugby shirts worn by the current England rugby team. Rolls Royce has also applied a red rose motif on the hand-applied deep green coachline and equipped this Wraith with a set of elegant 21-inch five twin-spoke alloys that will surely get everyone’s attention.
Once you climb inside, the Rolls-Royce Wraith History of Rugby will get you day-dreaming with a Seashell theme contrasted with Navy Blue. The embroidered red rose along with a Hotspur Red make for a smooth finishing touch, while Rolls-Royce’s experts used a Piano Black veneer for the dashboard and the center panel.
As we’ve been accustomed by now, exquisite versions of the Rolls-Royce Wraith are all about cosmetic tweaks, which means that the History of Rugby still hides under its bonnet a 6.6-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, developing 632 PS and 800 Nm of torque.
