Montegrappa has recently unveiled a wonderful series, the Centennial Dragon Collection, as a celebration of the brand’s 100th anniversary. The collection was unveiled during the first appearance of the brand at The Luxury Review event, held by RAND Luxury, an international event organizer.

The brand has come up with incredible, totally new pen designs, as parts of the collection. The collection revolves around the $1 million Centennial Dragon Pen, followed by the Brain Pen, inspired by American Professor of Neurology Dr. Richard Restak, a collaborator of the brand, for the last two years, during which the brand developed and manufactured this amazing piece.

The Dragon collection is, according to Montegrappa, divided into three distinct sets – 33 fountain pens in yellow gold with emeralds and white diamonds, 33 fountain pens in white gold with blue sapphires and white diamonds and 33 fountain pens in rose gold with black and white diamonds. The $1 million Centennial Dragon fountain pen is the 100th piece of the collection.

The reason behind the Dragon theme was that the Dragon has been symbolic all along the history of the brand. Back in 1995 they’ve launched the Dragon pen, one of the most popular pens signed Montegrappa of all time. It was even used by Boris Yeltsin to hand over the Russian power to Vladimir Putin.

During the aforementioned event, Montegrappa has further presented the Alchemist, Chaos, Frank Sinatra and a complete Batman set which includes a watch, pen and cufflinks. The $1 million Dragon fountain pen is currently on display in the foyer of The Boulevard Shopping Mall at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.
