Following the launch of their 9 carbon bicycle, the Californian company Niner Air is now presenting a new generation of lighter bikes, called the Air 9 RDO. They’re open to new graphics, designs and offer quite awesome performance.
Decked in Niner Green or Licorice Black, this new series of bikes sports PressFit BB30 kits as the chassis, with full carbon fiber-tapered head tube decorated with an alloy badge, imprinted with the company’s name. The bike also features repositioned brake mounts, American Classic Race 20 wheels, Race Face Carbon cranks and custom-painted-RockShox XX SID fork.
These allow this series to be ridden on any kind of terrain, from marshes to mountains and streets, also considering that they sport PF30 bottom adapter bracket for much easier maneuvering, Shimano XTR M985 derailleur and Shimano XTR M988 braking system, for a touch of safety.
Featuring a 5-year warranty for all the carbon fiber components they boast, the bikes come in a limited edition of just 50 units, each at a cost of $6,199. There’s also the option of buying a frame kit, for a more modest $2,099. With sales starting during March, enthusiasts are lucky the waiting time is quite short.
