 Meisterstück Sfumato

Always focused on precision and style for the brand’s newest creations, Montblanc has recently looked for inspiration in the Renaissance art for its new collection of leather goods. That’s how the Meisterstück Sfumato line has been born, a collection that’s truly impressive, to say the least, showing off a unique technique of painting.

Specifically, the great Leonardo Da Vinci and his followers were pioneers of this painting technique, called sfumato. Used even on the Mona Lisa, this unique technique will surely allow the collection to stand out from the crowd.

Crafted by applying the sfumato effect to fine and soft calfskin, the Meisterstück Sfumato collection is comprised of full briefcases, wallets, tote bags, and cardholders. Elegant and simple by nature, each product from this new line is hand-painted and then assembled.

The products also come with subtle sophistication, as well as three lovely color choices: rich brown, anthracite and navy blue.  To ensure that each of these new creations is of the highest quality, Montblanc carries out extensive tests before they can be delivered to those picky and attentive customers. Sure, such attention to detail deserves to stand the test of time.
