Spectre 13.3

Some of you have eagerly awaited to see this marvelous gadget finally unveiled, others probably not; whatever the case may be, we’re sure everyone is excited to see the world’s thinnest laptop, unveiled by HP. The company has been trying to make a laptop that will catch everyone’s attention for years, and it seems that they’ve finally nailed it with this beauty.

Called Spectre 13.3, or sometimes simply the HP Spectre, this ultra-thin laptop is just 10.4 thick, which is thinner than both the MacBook and Dell’s XPS13, two of the thinnest laptops on the market right now. But the new HP Spectre is not just really thin, it also looks rather unique and extremely eye catching.

Built on a CNC-machined aluminum chassis, this laptop model will be also available in a limited edition 18-karat gold and diamond version, that got everyone buzzing. Featuring a carbon fiber bottom, as well as high gloss copper accents and an innovative hidden piston hinge, this looks more like a jewel every second.

The mesmerizing gilded version was designed by Tord Boontje and Jess Hannah. It has been decorated with floral patterns, inspired by peacocks and butterflies, while the 18-karat gold traces and the Swarovski crystals were set against a Midnight Blue backdrop.

You should know that this exclusive version will be auctioned at the Cannes Film Festival, with proceeds meant for the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

The insides of this laptop include Intel i5 and i7 CPU options, storage of up to 512 TB, up to 8 GB of RAM, 3 USB Type-C connectors and a battery that will supposedly handle 10 hours of usage on a single charge. The Spectre 13.3 will go up for pre-order on April 25th, starting off at $1,170.
