Just two years ago, Hermès has decided to impress ladies from all over the world by unveiling the uber chic Faubourg watch, a gorgeous timepiece with a dainty line that was an instant hit, followed just a year later by the Faubourg Manchette, an evolution of the original timepiece featuring an exquisite leather cuff.

This year the French luxury label has taken the design of this watch to the next level once again, mixing the leather cuff with gemsetting, for a new timepiece called Hermès Faubourg Manchette Joaillerie, that will be available in a variety of interpretations.

Designed to add a touch of elegance and class to any lady, this new timepiece has been unveiled at Baselworld 2016, showing off gem-studded bezels, precious stone dials and of course, the brand’s signature broad leather cuff.

The leather craftsman assembles the cuff carefully, while the strap contour is dyed and then heat-smoothed with a soldering iron; beeswax makes sure water doesn’t ruin your day, or your watch.

The case’s hollowed out bezel has been fitted with 36 precisely cut baguette set gems, matching the strap’s color theme. Green straps twinkle with emeralds, while blue and brown straps are complemented by sapphires in matching hues; the classic black strap gets clear, crystalline diamonds.

The dials of these beautiful watches were made out of precious gems, green malachite, blue lapis lazuli, amber tiger’s eye and black onyx, with four diamonds being set at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. Hermès decided that colored variants should feature rose gold cases and pin buckles, while the black version would benefit from white gold.
