Monique Péan is known for creating exquisite pieces of jewelry, employing unconventional designs and unique materials. The brand is also known for the emphasis it places on sustainability. During the Couture Show Las Vegas, the designer introduced her new Mineraux collection of so-called “ethical engagement rings.”

The collection comprises 20 unique engagement rings made from recycled platinum and gold and set with antique diamonds. Each precious stone is encircled with micro pavé diamonds, further emphasizing the cut and color of the gem. Elegant color combinations and distinctive shapes give the collection an air of novelty, while also adding a sort of contemporary vibe the modern bride will surely appreciate.

What makes these rings “ethical” is the fact that they’re made from recycled metals and antique or conflict-free zones. Furthermore, part of the proceeds from the sale of these pieces will go to various charities Péan supports.

The Mineraux collection is available exclusively at Barneys New York.
