We’re just a few days away from the release of Disney’s live action Cinderella movie, starring Lily James and Cate Blanchett, so the studio asked some of the world’s greatest designers to each come up their own version of the princess` glass shoe*. The iconic piece of footwear has thus been redesigned by the likes of Jimmy Choo, Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, Salvatore Ferragamo, Jerome Rousseau, Stuart Weitzman, Nicholas Kirkwood, and Charlotte Olympia.

Sandra Choi, for example, creative director at Jimmy Choo, has come up with a glittering shoe adorned with 7000 Swarovski crystals and 46 embroidered stones, as well as thumb-sized crystal at the toe. The stilettos are manufactured in Italy, with a shimmer leather upper, leather sole and insole, and come with a price tag of $4,595.

Jerome C. Rousseau, on the other hand, presents a pair of midnight-blue, high-heeled glitter sandals priced at $795, while Paul Andrew’s pointed toe silhouette set with Swarovski crystals feature transparent PVC for that glass effect, as well as ivory suede for an extra luxurious touch.

You can check out those mentioned above, together with all the other design in the gallery below. Which one is your favorite?
