Rolls-Royce has recently announced a limited edition series of bespoke Wraith models, inspired by British music – that sounds pretty great already, right? Some of the best British rock bands and vocal artists have joined forces with the luxury car manufacturer for these exquisite vehicles, the first of them having been revealed just a few days ago.
The likes of The Who frontman Roger Daltrey, Sir Ray Davies of The Kinks and songwriter Giles Martin are among the names involved with the project. As you’d expect, each of these unique Rolls-Royce Wraiths will brag about superb design touches, reminiscent of the artist(s) who helped create it.
According to Rolls-Royce, these bespoke vehicles will represent the ultimate collectors’ items for the biggest fans of each artist, and we tend to agree with that statement. Set to sell later this year, these luxurious music-inspired jewels on wheels will send a proportion of the purchase costs to the artist’s selected charity – how cool is that?
There is, however, a link between rich and famous British music stars and Rolls-Royce vehicles throughout the years, but that’s a fun and possibly destructive relationship that shouldn’t be mentioned in this context. This collaboration, on the other hand, promises to add yet another impressive page to the carmaker’s history.
