There’s nothing quite like the live concert experience – and it’s not only about the energy of the crowd or being within a stone’s throw from your favorite musicians. The sound quality has to be top notch as well and manufacturers like Bowers & Wilkins know this. The English company has recently created a system that, in a sense, offers the best of both worlds – the Bowers & Wilkins Sound System.

This fine piece of engineering features four low-frequency enclosures with two 15-inch Rohacell composite drivers a piece, with each of these four units including a Kevlar midrange driver and four Nautilus tube-loaded high frequency drivers. In total, there are 28 speakers per channel for the four-stack cabinets that make up the B&W Sound System. It delivers high-fidelity sound professionals, whether they’re DJs or bands, will definitely appreciate.

While the Bowers & Wilkins Sound System is not intended to be used as part of home systems, some of the technologies employed are also available in more accessible systems. The 800 Series Diamond System, for example, comes with the same composite drivers as the Sound System model, which makes it a great alternative for people who are just looking for something to use at home.
