Exquisite Tanjong Jara Resort in Malaysia

What a fantastic gallery! What a pleasant way to enjoy a relaxing evening – writing about a gorgeous resort and basking in some photos which make me wish I felt the place instead of staring at it. What we have here is the Malaysian resort of Tanjong Jara, found on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, between Kuantan at the south and Kuala Terengganu at the north.

Boasting with absolutely wonderful architectural aesthetics and surrounded by lush, superbly trimmed greenery, Tanjong Jara Resort is fronted by the calm, emerald waters of the South China Sea. It provides ancient Malay traditions amidst typical Malaysian architecture and an atmosphere to speak stories. The 17th century palaces are quite some fantastic places to come across, reflecting the elegance and glamour of the same era.

The main philosophy of the resort is based on the Malay concept of Sucimurni, highlighting the purity of the spirit, well-being and health, encouraging full rejuvenation of both our material and the spiritual sides. The official description says: “Authentic in architecture and attitude, always warm and welcoming, it is an environment to let go, to relax deeply and take time to rediscover yourself, your family or your friends; all this whilst staff members drawn from the local villages truly live the age old legacy of Malaysian warmth and hospitality.”

There are plenty of experiences to enjoy here – from culture to enlightenment, from energy to outdoor entertainment, from regeneration to indulgence and from laziness to absolute stillness. If fully depends on you if you want to go for a swim or bask in the warm, Malaysian sun. Full pleasure is entirely on your side.
