Rihanna has teamed up with the well known Swiss jeweler and watchmaker Chopard to design a splendid capsule collection of jewelry, inspired by the artist’s colorful hometown Barbados and Chopard’s signature Ice Cube. The 16-piece limited edition collection was appropriately titled Rihanna Loves Chopard and it comes with gold necklaces, lovely bracelets and earrings, characterized by minimalist geometry and sharp, clean lines.
The first two pieces of this new Haute Joaillerie Collection have been unveiled a couple of days ago, with a pair of chic 19-carat diamond earrings, and an eye catching pair of chandelier earrings, embedded with pink and yellow sapphires and rubies, making sure you understand why Rihanna Loves Chopard.
This May, Chopard’s haute joaillerie collection with Rihanna will debut at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival as part of the 70th anniversary of this prestigious event, and also marking 20 years of collaboration between Chopard and the French film fest.
Rihanna’s special touch may only be enjoyed by 2,000 lucky people per item, with prices so steep that only a few of us could afford. The collection is already available for pre-order on chopard.com, with price-tags going from $1,460 for an 18k rose gold ring all the way up to $11,140 for a stunning 18k diamond-embellished gold necklace.
