On Top of the World: A Unique Wedding on Burj Al Arab’s Helipad

The Burj Al Arab is not just any (very luxurious) hotel, it’s a landmark in its own right – so it’s not surprising that over the years it has been used as a very special venue for some unique events, like the friendly tennis match between tennis legends Roger Federer and Andre Agassi, or Formula One star David Coulthard doing donuts in a Red Bull Racing car. The very same helipad that hosted these events is now available for couples who want to tie the knot in a really special setting.

The hotel’s in-house wedding architect will make sure every detail is taken care of. Furthermore, the couple will also have access to top haute couturiers, Dubai’s best jewelers, private after-hours access to top luxury fashion brands, beauty treatments from celebrity personal trainers, as well as private etiquette and dance lessons. And to ensure absolutely everything is perfect, Burj Al Arab’s Executive Chef is available to help with the wedding cake design and flavor.

The wedding guests will also get the royal treatment, as arrangements can be made for them to arrive at the hotel either by air in a twin engine Augusta 109, or by road in chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Phantoms.

Prices for organizing such a sumptuous wedding, 700 feet above Dubai in one of the world’s most luxurious hotel, start at about $55,000.
