First Crescent House

South Africa proved to everyone in the world this summer with the 2010 World Cup that it’s a complex and beautiful country where traditions perfectly blend with modern times and contemporary architecture. An example of that could be this lovely house designed by Saota located in Camps Bay, South Africa which was dubbed as the “First Crescent House”.

This stunning home has a minimalist design based on linear arrangements and a limited palette of materials but the final result is breathtaking. Thanks to its location the house has a 270 degree view of Lions Head and the Atlantic Ocean and this makes it even more attractive.

Floor to ceiling windows allow guests to enjoy every inch of this amazing landscape and also floor the house with natural light during the day. During the night, a modern lighting system underline the home’s contemporary design making it even more interesting.
