London-based aftermarket specialists Potter & Rich have been working hard on coming up with the ultimate upgrade program for the first generation of the Audi R8 V10, and we think they’ve actually managed to do it. Perhaps the most elaborated R8 tuning job ever, the “RECON MC8” is no longer worthy of the quattro logo since it uses a Drexler differential lock to power up its rear wheels.

This was done for a better power-to-weight ratio and especially for better handling around the track. This awesome and fully street-legal vehicle features a modified V10 5.2-liter engine, which has received a supercharger and high-performance pistons, enabling it to develop a heart-stopping 950 PS and 900 Nm of torque.

The powerful engine was then mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, also updated to handle the massive output hike. Aside from these incredible technical upgrades and specs, you will surely notice the car’s aggressive new looks. Thanks to a full carbon fiber body, the RECON MC8 resembles the R8 LMS ultra racercar, that will surely be a great sight on the streets.

This modified version of the R8 also comes with an enormous rear wing, not to mention new 20-inch front & 21-inch rear MB Design alloys. The car tuners would gladly provide you with an alternative for these wheels, specifically a set of 18-inch BBS rims with 305/30 ZR18 and 335/30 ZR18 rubber.

The magic continues inside the cabin, where the RECON MC8 boasts a revised speedometer showing 430 km/h which is 270 mph. We don’t know if this ride can actually reach that top speed, but we’re sure it will be pretty close. There’s no word on pricing yet, although we’re sure the car is for sale.
