I fell in love with the 1 Million by Paco Rabanne the minute the odor went up through my nostrils. It is a gorgeously smelling liquid, having been sold in 23 million bottles worldwide since its official launch, in July 2008. The fragrance was closely succeeded by the Lady Million, which was in turn sold in 5 million bottles at just 8 months after its official unveiling, in early March 2011.

Now, Paco Rabanne is up once again with the 1 Million Intense, a stronger version of the aforementioned masculine perfume, with glittering shine of gold from 2008.

This intensified fragrance was mixed from top volatile notes of cardamom, black pepper, blood mandarin and saffron. The heart of the perfume is consisted of cinnamon, neroli and notes of rose absolute, while the base is complete with orris root, sandalwood, white leather and patchouli.

If memory serves, the stars who used to present the 1 Million and Lady million were Matt Gordon and Dree Hemingway. They were chosen once again, for the 1 Million Intense, while the shots were taken by Nathaniel Goldberg and the black and white video was finished by Paul Gore. The bloke based his ideas on inspiration drawn from Goldfinger, one of the masterpieces of Hollywood.

In terms of availability, the 1 Million Intense by Paco Rabanne will reportedly be available starting with March the 1st, for prices that start at €56 ($75) per flacon of 50 ml.
