Repetto is a French company mostly known for its ballet shoes, but like many brands associated with elegance, it has branched out into various other areas related to beauty and style. After launching its first Eau de Toilette last year, this June the company has released its successor, which is an exquisite Eau de Parfum.
Like its predecessor, the scent is the work of perfumer Olivier Polge. Its composition can be described as floral-fruity and oriental-woody. Top notes are plum and cherry blossom, while the heart of the perfume exudes orange blossom and rose. Finally, the base consists of patchouli, amber, and vanilla – everything thus combining to create an intensely feminine, very sensual fragrance.
The shape of the bottle is reminiscent of the previous version, only this time it is fully frosted, while the black box it is presented in is decorated with pink satin ribbons and a tassel. Quite appropriately, ballerina Dorothée Gilbert is the face of the perfume’s campaign.
