Self-Tune Your Audio Experience With The Nura Headphones

We don’t like to admit it, but we all experience life in different ways and the same goes with our senses, particularly hearing. As such, you can’t develop a standard headphone set and expect everyone to enjoy it at the same level, which is why Nura could be considered a game-changer.

Designed by Nicol Boyd and Tomas Rosén, the Nura headphones offer a more personal approach to music. By using built-in microphones, these headphones measure the audio response from your ears – just like an audio test –  at different frequencies, and then calibrates the music signal accordingly. Once the initial 30-second calibration sequence is completed, these headphones will recognize who is listening to the sound waves.

Furthermore, the Nura headphones will also deliver an immersive studio quality sound across the entire perceivable spectrum. That results in a crystal clear experience that’s complemented by a powerful bass – undisturbed by any ambient noise, while keeping people around in the dark in regards to what the user is listening to.

Thanks to the split electronic architecture and innovative speaker drivers, kept safe within two lightweight aluminium headphone enclosures, these stunning headphones are more than suited for everyday usage. Also worth considering is the slender and flexible headband, working alongside an integrated cable channel and padding.

And once you take in the dark anodized finish and the signature colored cable, you might be interested to know that the initial calibration sequence and further custom settings can be controlled via a smartphone app. If all of that looks, and probably sounds great, feel free to pre-order your own Nura headphones through kickstarter.

The project already has a ton of backers and there are still 50 days left!
