I used to know carbon fiber is part of the automotive world, or part of other similar industries, but not jewelry. It seems like I was very wrong about it, as Ringl proves with the Fine Carbon Fibre Jewelry Collection.
The brand is renowned for putting carbon fiber into the Cardissimo Carbon Fibre Business Card and is now launching a series of jewelry. The British brand has spent 16 years in developing this exquisite material – they’ve refined it and made it a lot more elegant, suitable for these purposes. In detail, such intricate beauty has been achieved through unique high frequency welding and laser-engraving procedures. As last minute touches, they’ve mixed the material with gold and diamonds, so that these designs also receive some glitter.
The collection encompasses a decent number of exquisite rings and bracelets, fit for wearing by both men and women. They’ve all been manufactured in Austria, where top levels of precision lead to exclusivity and extreme quality. In terms of pricing, they surely don’t come cheap – the bracelets and the rings range between €1,760 ($2,300) and €18,500 ($24,160) VAT not included.

and this is a new 2013 jewelry trends? looks nice, but fibre… 🙂
I don’t fancy this collection that much, but it’s pretty interesting nevertheless. Thumbs up for their achievement! Related to vogue, nah, I don’t think the future of fashion will look like this 🙂 You need glitter in order to stand out and carbon fiber has none of it 😀
