As part of celebrating this year’s Formula 1 constructors’ and drivers’ championships. Mercedes-AMG has developed a very special edition of their powerful A45. The designers of this special edition have fitted the car with petrol green and black highlights, reminiscent of the F1 W06 Hybrid car and continued to add a bigger front splitter, bespoke flics and a rear-mounted roof spoiler.
Customers may opt out for a polar silver metallic, designo mountain grey magno or a mountain grey metallic paint-job, while everyone will receive 19-inch cross-spoke titanium grey alloys, with a petrol green rim flange.
The Mercedes-AMG A45 PETRONAS 2015 World Champion Edition, as this special edition was dubbed, had to be touched with some AMG magic, for the obvious reasons.
As such, it has been equipped with the AMG Exclusive Package, AMG DYNAMIC Plus Package, as well as with the electrically adjustable AMG Performance seats and the Night Package.
The interior boasts a Performance steering wheel dressed in DINAMICA microfiber, with petrol green stitching – which also made its way onto the dashboard, armrests, and the air vents rings as well.
I guess you’ve all realized by now that this vehicle has not been technically altered or upgraded in any way. This means the impressive 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine still powers up the car, developing 381 PS and 475 Nm of torque, which sends its power to all four wheels through the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system and an optimized seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.
As a result, the Mercedes will do 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 4.2 seconds.
