As we head into the colder months of fall and winter, fruity, flowery don’t seem so appealing anymore. Nevertheless, Fendi has waited until now to announce the release of a new fragrance with exactly these characteristics, a somewhat bold move which might just pay off.
The perfume is called Fan di FENDI Blossom – and just as its name suggests, it is inspired by the scent of Japanese sakura blossoms. The bright floral fragrance has top notes of raspberries and Japanese pear, while the heart is made up of what we’ve just said gives the blend its soul, sakura cherry blossom. Finally, the base is a mix of vanilla essence and a touch of powder, for a delicate, fresh finish.
The bottle is a beautiful piece in and of itself, adorned with the double F emblem and topped with a silver cap reminiscent of Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag. Its color is the same lovely pink of the sakura cherry blossom, which is another nice touch on the aesthetic side of things. Speaking of aesthetics, Danish model Caroline Brasch Nielsen has been chosen to be the image of the perfume’s campaign, which presents Fendi’s new creation as a fun, flirty fragrance, still appropriate for this time of year.
