There are loads of car models that have been tuned up for the Geneva Motor Show, some of them surprising, others subtle, some extremely powerful, others more gentle. But this one, the memoR McLaren MP4-12C, by Hamann, can simply be integrated in all the strong categories.
Since the stock McLaren MP4-12C is one of the most powerful / fastest cars in the world, it’s engine hasn’t undergone any modifications at all but the car went through a couple of visual upgrades. The new aerodynamics package from Hamann sports a large front splitter, side skirts, new rear diffuser and reworked wheel arches.
The main benefit of this change, besides the new look, is the increased downforce on both the axles. The car has been painted black, with some red finish on the exterior from place to place. The combination goes extremely nice with the vehicle, especially with its black rims.
We don’t yet know if they’re planning a performance upgrade package, for this type of McLaren, but knowing the Hamann team, they probably will develop one, plus a few more upgrades. There hasn’t been any information regarding the price of the visual-upgrade package released yet.
