Le Bouquet de la Reine

In a wonderful gesture of history and culture appreciation, French perfume house Guerlain has created a very special fragrance. The brand’s new, limited edition Le Bouquet de la Reine scent was imagined with a special cause in mind, specifically the restoration of the Palace of Versailles.

Le Bouquet de la Reine – simply translated ‘The Queen’s Bouquet’ – was inspired by the gardens of the Versailles palace, with perfumer Thierry Wasser adding a mix of beautiful floral notes in this fragrance, including jasmine, bergamot, lily of the valley, cyclamen and freesia.

If the perfume’s incredible scent won’t leave you breathless, the exquisite flacon it comes in will surely do so. A 125 ml classic Quadrilobé bottle, featuring the Sun King medallion, was the chosen design and calling card for this new Guerlain fragrance.

A nod to Louis XIV, who originally moved his court from Paris to Versailles, the sun medallion was inspired by the sun-god Apollo, a signature seen on other Guerlain products as well.

In the end, we should mention that this is a limited edition fragrance that can only be ordered online, for €550 ($600), between February 17 and May 17 this year. Feel free to help out!
