We’ve recently shown you an ultra-luxurious iPhone 6 pimped out by Goldgenie, but the British luxury good company always comes up with new objects to slap ridiculous amounts of precious materials on. This time it’s racing bike you really wouldn’t want to really risk racing with, since you’d be in danger of ruining one of your priciest possessions.
The entire structure of the bike is covered in 24-carat gold, from the drop handlebars to every spoke of the wheels and every link in the chain. The only non-gilded parts of the piece are the seat, covered in soft San Marco suede, and the SR4 racing tires, though these elements are equally as high-end nevertheless. Buyers can also get the product customized, with a selection of finishes on the saddle and handlebars available, with options including exotic skins and fine leathers and different kinds of precious stones.
Goldgenie’s gilded bicycle isn’t something one would freely ride around on the streets – that’s because it comes with an astronomical price tag of almost half a million dollars (£250,000 to be precise, which is about $470,000)!
