A lot of weird-named cars and supercars have emerged lately, coming from different countries all over the world, and the weirdest thing about them is that people actually like and buy them. Such a name is the Genty Akylone, coming from the French company Genty.
It hasn’t been physically released yet, only on paper and PC. With a sporty design, discreetly related to today’s supercars, its 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 will develop more than 1000 HP when it will be launched. Its weight will settle around 1,100kg, giving it an absolutely great 1.1 power/weight ratio.
Its acceleration will be mind-blowing, 2.7 seconds from 0-100 km/h (62 mph), 7.2 sec 0-200km/h (124 mph) and 14 sec 0-300 km/h (186 mph). This is only possible due to the drag coefficient of 0.35 and the 7-speed sequential gearbox, with rear-wheel traction. The contraption will get to a maximum speed of 354 km/h (220 mph).
Only 15 pieces will be produced, and the price hasn’t been settled yet. We are looking forward to seeing this masterpiece run.
