The upcoming launch of the new iPhone 6 is shaping up to become the tech event of the year, so naturally plenty of people are very excited about the release. And tech aficionados with a taste for luxury also have plenty to look forward to: Brikk has already announced it will create custom, gold-plated versions of the new device, with American company Falcon also signaling its intent to get in on the action.
Falcon has announced its release will be divided into a couple of separate collections called Bespoke and SuperNova, which add up to 21 versions of the iPhone 6. These glitzy smartphones are available in platinum, yellow, or rose gold, and are adorned with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds in various combinations (which you can see in the gallery below). What’s really amazing is the pricing for these custom pieces, which starts at a hefty $1.65 million and can go as far as an astonishing $48.5 million – basically blowing the previous record for world’s most expensive smartphone out the water.
