Castel Valer

Proudly sitting at the foothills of the beautiful Dolomite mountains, Castel Valer is a place of beauty, mesmerizing decorations and incredible history, which is why I’m sure everyone would love to participate in the auction which gives you a chance to purchase this stunning piece of history, an auction that’s scheduled for September, 22nd.

Found in Tassulllo, Italy, Castel Valer has been in the possession of an aristocratic family for over 650 years and it now features over 80 rooms and 15 bedrooms, as well as an incredible library and a knight’s hall, among many other amazing amenities.

Built between the 12th and 17th centuries on the site of Roman ruins, this castle has welcomed many interesting personalities in the past centuries, like an Austrian Emperor or Pope Pius IX, with elements of the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque eras being part of the charm in the beautiful interiors of this place.

Castel Valer also features two chapels, with beautiful frescoes dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries, while the frescos of the famous painters Giovanni and Christoforo Baschenis found here have been excellently preserved as well. Every detail of this unique castle speaks volumes about the fine craftsmanship involved in creating such an outrageous property.

Original glass chandeliers, Venetian mirrors, unique oil paintings and many other things add to the distinctive charm that will probably get future owners spend a small fortune to own it. Continuously renovated and modernized, this lavish castle now provides up-to-date amenities, such as heated rooms, a wine cellar, a lovely pool, and a new electric generator, and the list goes on and on.

The expansive grounds boast terraced gardens, apple orchards, and forestland, and there’s even a heliport on site, just in case you’re thinking of coming home with your helicopter. We don’t know exactly for how much Castel Valer will sell, but it was previously listed for $35 million and it might come close to that amount.

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
