Cara Delevingne is no stranger to working as a designer, having recently created a whole line of handbags for Mulberry. Now, she’s releasing another set of promotional images for the collection, part of the brand’s 2014 fall lineup.
Shot at the Claridge’s in London, as part of a collaboration with the world-renowned hotel, the images feature the British supermodel with the handbags she created. Also making an appearance are what seem to be Delevingne four-legged friends, just like in the previous presentation made last February. What makes these handbags truly special is the fact they come with detachable straps, meaning they can easily be converted into backpacks – something which illustrates the casual nature and versatility of the entire collection. For a more elegant look, of course, one can opt for simply holding them in hand, or wearing them over the shoulder.
Also released with this occasion was a film of Delevingne in the workshop, showing off her skills as a seamstress. The supermodel was said to be heavily involved in the design and development of the collection bearing her name, even visiting Mulberry factories and archives to really get a feel of what the brand was about, with these images coming as come as sort of a confirmation.
