Lacoste is a brand synonymous with quality and style. It was founded by the legendary tennis player Rene Lacoste, nicknamed “the Crocodile” because of his tenacity and fighting spirit which brought him great success on the courts in the 1920s. When, in 1933, Lacoste started producing tennis shirts, it was one of the first times in history a brand logo appeared on an article of clothing – with that logo being the now-famous green crocodile.
Nowadays, the French company produces other high quality good in addition to T-shirts, from perfumes, to watches to footwear. But what we are showcasing here is an elegant pair of aviator-style sunglasses: the Lacoste L714s.
It is a brightly colored series, with vivid yellow, orange, blue, green and purple pieces. Each item in this collection comes with neon frames and is made from a special plastic that absorbs both sunlight and artificial light during the day.
The Lacoste L714s sunglasses will be available starting this June and will come with a price tag of $160.
