Inspired by the acclaimed BeoLab 14 speakers, the new BeoPlay S8 subwoofer and speaker set from Bang & Olufsen delivers the excellent sound we’ve come to expect from the Danish company’s products – and also looks great in the process!
Elegant, minimalistic, and quite discreet (as you can see from the images below), the BeoLab S8 speakers are made from high-end materials such as pearlblasted aluminum and are perfect for customers who value aesthetics, as well as performance.
The most important feature of these speakers is, however, the fact that they deliver that crisp and intense Bang & Olufsen Signature Sound. The 8-inch subwoofer packs quite a punch despite its relatively small size: powered by a dedicated 280 Watt class D amplifier, operates at a frequency between 20 to 150 Hz. The satellite speakers, on the other hand, feature 2.5-inch full range speaker drivers, each powered by a dedicated 140 Watt class D amplifier, enclosed inside the subwoofer tower.
Bang & Olufsen’s BeoPlay S8 speaker system is priced at around $1,200.
