Swedish-born DJ Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name Avicii, is one of the hottest names in the music industry these days, so he had to get a home to match his new status. With earnings of about $20 million last year, he decided to invest 15 million of that into a mansion in Los Angeles.
Situated on a steep slope overlooking Sunset Boulevard, it is 7,007 square feet of unparalleled luxury, with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as an incredible view of the City of Angels. There’s also a water wall adjacent to the driveway dividing the residence.
The water flows into an ornamental pool before dropping into a spa below, after which it once again cascades into a 75-foot lap pool which finally becomes a cantilevered wet-edge infinity pool, seamlessly blending over the slope into the extraordinary view.
The sumptuous mansion used to belong to beauty mogul Bruno Mascolo, head of the US division of Toni & Guy, who sold it to Avicii in late 2013.
