Vertu and Italia Independent Phones By Lapo Elkann

These have to be the most beautiful mobile phones I have ever seen. And I genuinely mean it! Created through the collaboration between the luxury phones manufacturer Vertu and the creator of one of the most modern clothing labels today, Italia Independent, Lapo Elkann, an extremely charismatic figure, heir of the Fiat Automotive empire, this series comprises two staggering versions.

The phones boast with the vibrant blue motif of Italia Independent, as you can see. The series includes a QWERTY mobile phone, the Constellation Quest Blue, and the Constellation Blue, a smartphone garnished with a huge touchscreen display. They are limited edition too, just like all other creations of Vertu.

The Constellation Blue will be available in 777 units, while the Constellation Quest Blue will be produced in 77 pieces. They are currently available for pre-order, at the Parisian boutique Colette, for €8,500 – the Constellation Quest Blue and, respectively, €7,900 the Constellation Blue. Not sure when the deliveries will start, though.
