Balenciaga Introduces the Cosmonaute Low Trainers

Quite an eye-catching pair of footwear, the Fall/Winter 2012 collection from Balenciaga is a stunner. This is going to be electric!

Reportedly named the Cosmonaute Low Trainers, the footwear feature an upper made of mixed materials and tones, like metallic blue fabric at the vamp, heel and panel, tan embossed printed leather along the eyestay and collar, and brown full grain leather along the toe. I know, this combination of materials and colors is quite a paradox, but it looks really good.

There are a few additional features, as staggering as the ones we’ve mentioned, like woven black fabric tongue, bright orange leather lining, stitched gum rubber sole unit and black, contrasting laces. The looks are completed by an orange sockliner, branded by Balenciaga.
