French luxury brand Zilli has nearly five decades of experience in the fashion industry, achieving prominence as a forerunner in the invention of luxury leather jackets. However the brand’s versatility can be clearly seen in this latest launch, featuring solid gold sunglasses and gold-engraved skis.

The elegant frame of the Flamel sunglasses epitomizes the kind of melding of creativity and technology Zilli is recognized for. A perfect example of that is the pioneering way in which solid gold is combined with Japanese ceramic black to form an inserted ingot on the arm, featuring the brand name. This and other delicate ornaments ensure not only adequate eye protection, but also provide the wearer with an air of class and sophistication. These entirely handmade glasses will be released as part of an exclusive 50 piece collection.

In addition to this, Zilli has also unveiled a luxurious line dedicated to Sochi, as sort of a tribute to the Sochi Winter Olympics. Collaborating with ski-maker Lacroix, they have released an exquisite pair of gold-engraved skiis, crafted from superimposed titanium, carbon and Kevlar. The collection also boasts a stretch Gore-Tex ski jacket, ski pants, a pair of Gore Tex and leather gloves along with titanium and pure carbon fiber ski eyewear, and will only be available in Courchevel and Sochi Zilli stores.
