During 2012, fans of exquisite watches will be enticed by a new collection from Zenith, actually additional models for the El Primero Chronomaster series. We’re talking about two new timepieces, the El Primero Chronomaster 1969 and El Primero Chronomaster Open Grande Date Moon & Sunphase, masterfully crafted by one of the greatest watchmakers in the world.
The 1969 model is a monument to Zenith’s wealthy heritage over time and a celebration to its style involution. This piece’s 12-hour and 30-minute counters boast the same tones as the original 1969 models, plus a new movement – the Calibre 4061, vibrating at 36,000 times per hour, a pretty high frequency, compared to the majority.
This version also features a premiere for Zenith – the dial has been beautifully cut to expose the intricate movement under it. The small opening is located adjacent to the 10 o’clock position, leaving space for the other two indicators.
This technologically-advanced 42mm stainless steel work of art comes with a rubber-lined strap with pin buckle or triple folding clasp, based on customer’s choice. Check it out at Baselworld 2012.
