The first edition of “Parco Valentino – Salone & Gran Premio” in Italy saw Torino Design unveiling the heart-stopping Wildtwelve hybrid supercar. The event took place near Castello del Valentino, an UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts incredible surroundings… but let’s just focus on the incredible ride at hand.

This mid-engine hybrid supercar is a true testament of what Torino Design engineers and artists are capable of. Their Wildtwelve is able to do 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 Mph) in just 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 390 km/h (242 Mph); you might be wondering why they dubbed their project Wildtwelve, and it’s safe to say it wasn’t an accident.

“Wild” can easily be traced to the aforementioned performance numbers, while “twelve” hints on the 3.8-litre V12 engine powering the beast. The engine is working alongside two electric motors in charge of the front wheels. This resulted in a combined total output of 860 PS and 918 NM of torque (677 ft.lb).

Sure, this might be just a prototype right now, but considering we’re dealing with an amazing supercar, it should be interesting to find out that the Wildtwelve will be assembled in a very limited series at the former Bugatti factory, in Campogalliano. You will have to forgive me if I don’t get excited just yet; I will, however, daydream about how this incredible concept will sound on the streets.
