Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a company that holds a number of exclusive boutique hotels throughout the Caribbean. The newest addition to their portfolio is the Sublime Samana Hotel & Residence, located on the shores of Samana Peninsula, in the Dominican Republic.
The resort was opened during March 2012 and provides 20 extraordinary, private suites and casitas, on some of the most beautiful beaches one can ever sunbathe on. Samana is situated on the northeastern coast of the island, on one of the most virgin spots of land in the world. The resort is encased in a superb landscape, with tropical mountains, lush vegetation and turquoise waters.
Guests can either enjoy themselves on the shaded sunbeds, above the resort’s private pools, or can take a dip into the warm, azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The property features one main building surrounded by private casitas, all constructed in a modern architectural style. Furthermore, the man-made constructions seem to fade into the natural setting, letting no room for artificiality.
Provided access to more than 6 miles of superb, sandy palm-fringed beaches, the resort also sports interconnected pools, which are just one step away, close to the doors of the small villas. The constructions are built in an open floor plan, to put at guests’ disposal as much space as they needed, to fulfill their daily routine.
