The Verve Outboard by Atlantis will reportedly debut at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show (the MIBS). This is in fact the outboard version of a related elegant and bold walkaround vessel proven to have served as a perfect overseas-home.
It is designed, developed and manufactured to cope with the United States’ principles and their market, based on the idea of keeping all the cozy and space-related features of its predecessor boat and blending them with the performance and speed guaranteed by the Mercury outboard motors, which generate between 3 and 300 HP.
Thus a real treasure was born, handling beautifully, sailing smoothly, with enough space to host a decent party and comfortable enough to provide you with a deep night sleep.
The specialists at Atlantis have reportedly replaced the engine room with a space for the locker and the elimination of the top fiberglass replaced by a profile windshield which gets more sportiness into the boat. In addition, those preferring a fiberglass hard top to cover the wheelhouse area and kitchen are in for a surprise – this can be actually ordered at Atlantis.
Heading inside, we notice the cabin below deck is quite lavish and able to provide enough comfort for a few weeks off. It sports two walk-in wardrobes, a central bed and a convenient sliding door. The bathroom and dinette haven’t suffered any significant changes.
The Verve Outboard also boasts a sunbathing area aft, able to accommodate up to 6 people, modern suite deck – 12 meters of fun spot -, and exclusive access to the sea. There’s also a superbly endowed mobile bar, fridge with 100 liters of capacity, outside grill and sink.
As for the multimedia field, it includes a display found on the aft table or sun deck controlling the entire audio and video systems onboard via a handy control panel.
