PC-gaming company Razer has unveiled their first Windows 7-based high-powered gaming laptop, dubbed as the “Razer Blade” that’s going to be launched on the market later this year for a price of $2,800.
Weighing less than 7 pounds and with a thickness of less than 1 inch, this laptop model is based on the Intel Core i7-2640M CPU (2,8 GHz frequency); it also has a 17,3 inch LCD with native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, FULL HD tech. The mate coloration and the size of the laptop are inspired from Apple’s MacBook Pro laps. The speed is also given by the 8 Gb of RAM, the nVidia GeForce GT 555M (with a dedicated memory of 2Gb) and a 320 Gb hard-drive. It also comprises a built-in webcam, wireless connectivity and the snake logo on the top, the symbol of the manufacturer.
The 10 dynamic adaptive tactile keys and the LCD, capable of putting out 2 modes: one that displays in-game info whenever a mouse is in use, and another, as an ultra-sensitive multi-touch panel, make out its Switchblade Use Interface. The Razer can be used in many ways, from watching videos on the internet, chat on Facebook, follow on Twitter to gaming, or even by doing these at the same time, without having to multi-task.
