Bergamot orange is a citrus fruit few people know about. It is as big as an orange and as yellow as a lemon, and it is not edible; however, the extracted juice is often used in food flavoring and perfumes. Originating from Italy, its minty aroma assures its place in the citrus family.
Notes of this citrus essence along with caramel, vanilla, saffron, agarwood or more commonly known ‘oud’, raspberry, patchouli, lily of the valley and tobacco make up the scent of the new Passion De L’Amour fragrance by House of Sillage.
Part of the signature Privée Collection, the perfume is the latest of eight fragrances offered by the American company, well-known for its olfactory wonders and bejeweled cupcake packaging. The fragrance was developed by prominent perfumer Mark Buxton, with its unique ‘cupcake’ flacon featuring a tropical gecko embellished with rare Columbian emeralds.
At the center of the gecko you will find a hidden nest made of marquis diamonds. The cap is plated in 18K gold and has platinum set vines running across it studded with 300 sparkling diamonds. Also worth mentioning is the hand-crafted morganite (pink emerald) gem, making every hot-blooded woman smile in an instant.
